okay, fine

So I slacked. Not on eating, but on blogging. I didn't cheat on the 24 days. Not even once. The final days, I ate a lot of the same recipes that I had eaten before. (Chicken tacos, crockpot marinara chicken, kale summer salad, I got corn tortillas and had turkey tacos, chicken meatballs, rice noodles) The results...
14 pounds and 9 inches
I have pictures from before and after, but I feel like they look the same. Except my hair. I cut it off. My clothes fit the same, and I feel pretty much the same.

I'm a little bummed that my sister ate sour patch kids and had better results than I did. Maybe if I would have had some m and ms, I would have had better results. :) I kid.


I have to be honest, my exercise really slipped away from me. Most of it was because I went back to work. The beginning on the school year is exhausting. A little bit was just laziness.  Am I happy I did it? Yes.

What did my day 25 look like?


So basically I ate clean in the morning and celebrate with my favorites (food and people) at night.

Today was
Breakfast-1 slice Ezekiel bread with Trader Joe's Natural Salt Free Almond Butter
Lunch-Chicken with Marinara
Snack-Apple with Trader Joe's PB  some grapes and cashews
Supper-1 slice Ezekiel bread with Trader Joe's Natural Salt Free PB
Dessert-Fried up banana and almond butter

I made "Jitter Juice" with my littles at school today. It was sherbet and diet 7up. I like the sherbet spoon. Then I made rice krispie treats for tailgating tomorrow. I licked my finger. But mostly clean. :)

Day 25...the results and the cheat....

Day 1 to Day 24:  weight loss 8 pounds and total inches 17 inches total

Then...Day 25 eating disaster began...it was delicious but

I can't even begin to log what I ate and drank at those places...but it was my cheat day and we were celebrating Kristy's Jesus Age Birthday!

And now, I start over...my next challenge....I'm calling it LUCKY 13....I want to lose 13 pounds and 13 more inches in 13 weeks.  I will be logging on My Fitness Pal and sticking to a consistent no processed food diet...with a few cheat days and/or meals.  Hold on, it's going to be a wild ride!

Day 22, 23, 24

And it's done....weigh out is tomorrow and my 24 Advocare Challenge is over.  The last 3 days have not been real creative on food; in fact, today I ate the same thing for lunch and supper (Mushroom & Artichoke Chicken).

I've been logging everything I eat on my fitness pal.

I plan to stay away from processed food but I will not continue on Advocare.  I have learned a lot and can't wait to challenge myself over the next month....but tomorrow is Day #25 and I CHEAT TOMORROW!

burps and toots.... (Day 21)

Sunday (Day 21)

I am not feeling so well today...too many nuts and berries yesterday perhaps?

And I realized I skipped blogging about Friday (Day 19)....well it was a great day and I did well at eating.  I made McCormicks Chicken Chipotle Tacos and they were delish for supper.  I ate eggs and ezekiel toast for lunch which I loved....but the day got busy, my parents came and my sis too.

It's crazy to believe we are on the last 3 days of this 24 day challenge.  We have some decisions about what to do come...Friday when we need a new plan.  I am giving myself Day #25 as a day for diet coke and chocolate and then to celebrate Kristy's Jesus Age Birthday....then we start with Day #26!

Saturday on the town (#20)

Day 20....
Breakfast: shake
Snack: cashews
Lunch: 2/3 of a burrito bowl at chipotle
Snack and Supper: kind of ran together....we went to Trader Joe's and bought all kinds of fun things to try...nuts, dried fruits, chicken sausages and some chips....I tried a little of everything, but to the best of my knowledge it all fell under the eating guidelines, just probably a little too much.

I can't believe it's down to only 5 days!

Cheater, cheater...sour patch kid eater...(Day 18)

I ate 4 sour patch kids today...and some popcorn at the pool....shoot!  Not my best.  But I had a hard egg and 2 turkey breakfast sausages for morning snack and it was AWESOME!  I still finish the day under 1300 calories and don't feel hungry.  I am headed out on a run/walk so I made need a little something when I get home.  Here's what my day looks like before my run.

Just remembered that I had raw carrots with supper too...I added them on My Fitness Pal.
